Dear Chapter Leaders,

My name is Jordan Nagel and I recently stepped into the role of VP for Leadership Development on the IABC Southern Region Board. My role is to support you as leaders and I’m partnered with John Harris, VP for Region Development, and Lynda Holder, VP for Chapter Services. See below for a quick summary of how we work together. But first…

We have some exciting things to share with you! Please read on and do let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

1) 2019 Leadership Summit at the #connect2comms Conference

The IABC Southern + Pacific Plains Joint Regional Conference will be held on Oct. 16–18, 2019, in Kansas City. On Wed., Oct. 16, from 8 am–5 pm CDT, we will hold our annual Southern Region Leadership Summit. Please plan for one board member, preferably the President/Chair or President-Elect/Vice Chair to attend. The person attending receives complimentary conference registration.

Visit connect.iabcsouthern.com for more—including hotel reservation information.

Please identify the person from your chapter that will attend and email leaderdev@iabcsouthern.com to let us know who that will be. Also, please go ahead and reserve their hotel room, so we can ensure enough rooms for the first night.

We’re going to have a smokin’ hot time in Kansas City—and we look forward to seeing you there!
