Ellena spent nearly six years in Internal Communications with the Walt Disney World Resort. During her time as a Disney cast member, Ellena was a Communications Strategist and Editorial Communications writer, where she helped the company’s internal publication, Eyes & Ears, earn a 2011 Silver Magnum Opus Award for Print Publication-Best Feature Article.
Her most recent role was Leader of Global Internal Communications with Halyard Health, a spinoff of Kimberly-Clark Healthcare. Previous professional experience includes a Change Communications contract with Cox Automotive and more than 10 years developing Advertising and Marketing Communications strategy for integrated agencies. Her copywriting work has appeared in national print, radio and billboard campaigns for companies such as Wachovia Bank, Countrywide and Sprint. She is currently founding partner of Written on Purpose Communications and resides in Atlanta, GA.
