Phillip Harris is a communication professor and communication faculty coordinator at Strayer University. He also helps organizations define, plan and launch online communication and marketing campaigns. Phillip offers a unique blend of leadership, vision, and knowledge. His specific areas of expertise include strategic planning, analytical research and business development with integrating the latest trends in social media for any size organization and budget. He has more than 20 years of experience creating and leading projects for public and private sectors clients in many fields, including Washington DC International Film Festival, Motown Records, White House, and U.S. Department of Justice. He handled local press coverage for a Grammy winning recording artist. He is currently director, online strategy and business development at PWH1 Management Group where he most recently launched a digital campaign featuring a celebrity spokesperson. He has taught at American University, George Washington University and Art Institute of Washington. He has a master’s in Public Communication from American University and a master’s in Cultural Studies from Goddard College.
