Jennie L. Lamb

VP Leadership Development

Jennie L. Lamb (Brazos Valley IABC) is a veteran communication professional with more than 25 years of experience, mostly in support of science in higher education. She is the Creative Manager for web and digital communications at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, where she’s worked since 2007. She develops and provides design and communication strategy, content, and project management for superiors, fellow communicators, and internal clients. She speaks in classes and at conferences about her career path and design and enjoys supporting non-profits and small businesses with freelance and pro bono work. An active IABC member and volunteer leader since 2010, she served in several board positions, including President, for the Brazos Valley IABC chapter, and previously served the Southern Region as Silver Quill Awards Director and VP of Communications. For IABC International, she has served on the Credentials, Ethics, and Program Advisory Committees. Jennie holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Media Studies degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Her work has been recognized with multiple IABC Bronze and Silver Quill Awards. In 2016, she was named IABC Southern Region’s Communicator of the Year, and in 2018, she received the IABC International Chair’s Award.
