As with everything else in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused the Southern Region to shift and pivot with our annual conference.
Held virtually over three half-days, November 11–13, 2020, the outcome of the 2020 #connect2comms (Twitter) Conference was a positive experience for all. Many participants commented on the strong slate of 28 speakers and valuable content. Three live keynotes and three breakout tracks of recorded sessions followed by live Q&A provided a well-rounded selection of professional development. The virtual event was interspersed with fun events, networking, and virtual meet-ups. Our global audience of attendees and speakers really brought out the (I)nternational in IABC and made networking all the more interesting.
All 2020 #connect2comms (LinkedIn) sessions are still available via the conference app for paid attendees. For those unable to attend the conference this year, we will be offering the presentations on-demand. Check back at our website soon for more information on how to take advantage of this incredible professional development opportunity!
We want to thank our speakers, attendees, and organizers for another successful Southern Region #connect2comms (Facebook) Conference.
