It is time to enter and be recognized for your hard work! The first entry deadline for IABC Southern Region’s Silver Quill Awards is coming up Sept. 14. Prepare your entries, double-check your work plan(s) and submit, before the entry fees increase.
The IABC Southern Region Silver Quills provide you an opportunity, across 50 categories, to gain valuable feedback and recognition for your work. Here are a few reasons why you should enter:
- Showcase your innovation, talent, and strategic thinking – whether it’s routine communications or something you’ve worked hard to pull off during COVID-19
- Fine-tune your skills with expert feedback from senior professionals
- Enhance your reputation and gain credibility for your communication efforts
- Build your resume with a portfolio of work that opens doors to new opportunities
As always, all of our categories align with IABC International’s Gold Quill Awards – even our special COVID-19 categories. So, our Silver Quill Awards continue to provide an opportunity to level up to the next competition – without rewriting your work plan(s). Rather than being judged against one another, all entries are evaluated on their own merits using the same criteria as IABC’s Global Blue Ribbon Panel. Review the divisions, categories, and entry guidelines before submitting it on our website.
Join the Southern Region Board the evening of Nov. 12 for a virtual Awards Ceremony during the virtual connect2comms conference to celebrate your accomplishments among your peers without all the travel expenses this year. Even if entering or winning just is not in the cards for you this year – we hope you will still join us and help recognize your fellow communication professionals from the Southern Region. Watch for more information this fall on how to register for this fun event.
